Ingredients
  

Latte Base

  • 1 shot espresso or ½ cup of strong brewed coffee
  • 6-8 oz steamed milk whole milk, oat milk, or almond milk

Optional Flavorings

  • sugar to taste
  • vanilla syrup optional
  • caramel drizzle optional

Instructions
 

  • Brew a single shot of espresso. If you don’t have an espresso machine, use a Moka pot or strong brewed coffee.
  • Steam the milk to about 150°F (65°C). If you don’t have a steam wand, heat the milk on the stove and froth it using a whisk or frother.
  • Pour the steamed milk over the espresso, tilting the cup slightly and pouring slowly to create a smooth blend.
  • Add sweeteners or flavored syrups if desired.
  • Enjoy your homemade latte!

Notes

For an iced latte, pour the espresso over ice and add cold milk instead of steaming it. Try different plant-based milk options for unique flavors.
