Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder culinary grade
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, matcha powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
  • Gradually mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  • Roll dough into a log, wrap in plastic, and chill for 30 minutes.
  • Slice into ¼-inch rounds and place on baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  • Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Drizzle with white chocolate for extra sweetness or mix in chopped pistachios for a nutty twist. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
