Ingredients

  • 12 oz mafaldine pasta
  • 4 cups water for boiling pasta
  • 1 tsp salt for seasoning pasta water

Creamy Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ tsp black pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add mafaldine pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir continuously to prevent scorching.
  • Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with black pepper.
  • Add the cooked mafaldine pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the creamy Alfredo sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
