  • 4 turkey slices for roll-ups
  • 2 cheese slices for roll-ups
  • 2 tbsp hummus for wraps or dipping
  • 1 whole wheat tortilla for hummus & veggie wraps

Warm Thermos-Friendly Lunch Ideas

  • 1 cup mac & cheese with hidden veggies
  • 1 cup chicken noodle soup

Cold Lunchbox Ideas

  • 1 cup whole wheat pasta for pasta salad
  • 0.5 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 0.25 cup cucumbers diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for pasta salad dressing

Instructions
 

  • For Turkey & Cheese Roll-Ups: Lay out a turkey slice, place a cheese slice on top, roll tightly, and slice into bite-sized pieces.
  • For Hummus & Veggie Wraps: Spread hummus on a whole wheat tortilla, add sliced cucumbers and carrots, roll it up, and cut into pinwheels.
  • For Mac & Cheese with Hidden Veggies: Cook macaroni, mix with cheese sauce, and stir in pureed carrots or butternut squash for extra nutrition.
  • For Chicken Noodle Soup: Heat chicken broth with shredded chicken, cooked noodles, and diced carrots, then store in a preheated thermos.
  • For Pasta Salad: Toss cooked whole wheat pasta with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded cheese, and olive oil. Store in an airtight container.
