Ingredients
  

Pancake Batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour For a gluten-free version, use GF pancake mix

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in the cooked crumbled sausage.
  • Heat a lightly greased skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look dry (about 2–3 minutes). Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with maple syrup, butter, or your favorite toppings.
