2slicesthick-cut breadbrioche, sourdough, or whole-grain
2large eggs
0.5cupshredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
1tbspbutter or olive oil
salt and pepperto taste

Instructions
Heat a skillet over medium and add butter or oil.
Place the bread slices in the skillet. Press the center of each with a spoon to create a slight well.
Crack an egg into the center of each slice. Sprinkle cheese around the egg and onto the toast.
