Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups uncooked rice jasmine or long-grain recommended
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups water or chicken broth
  • 1 packet onion soup mix

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish and evenly spread the uncooked rice across the bottom.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and water or broth until smooth.
  • Lay the chicken breasts over the rice in the baking dish.
  • Pour the soup mixture evenly over the chicken and rice.
  • Sprinkle the onion soup mix on top.
  • Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add diced carrots, peas, or bell peppers before baking. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
